Lets Go Devils!!!
we need to find a way to win this game and go down to florida with confidence |

If the Devils play Hedberg, they'd have a better chance of winning. Brodeur has been weak. |

if marty had played like he did in game 3 for a game 4, then id agree that putting hedberg in for a game in Flordia would be the better choice..but Marty Brodeur will never be sat for a home playoff game thats absurd |

The Panthers will need to keep it simple and smart to start out with and make the Devils expend energy to generate chances instead of allowing our own turnovers to spark a blitz.
If we can do that and roll the four lines then we should get ourselves in the game without being down by 3 goals. After that maybe we can get a period where both teams are playing well instead of this all or nothing style that has been prevalent for the first 3 games. |

I would expect Marty to bounce back. The question is will he bounce back to be average, good or really good? If he looks really good in the beginning then I see the Devils gaining confidence and pushing hard in our defensive zone.
While I have certainly been please with our ability to come back in the series so far the Panthers better come out ready to play. There is no excuse this time and making a habit of trying to erase 3 goal leads is a habit that gets you knocked out of the playoffs. |

I think Brodeur gives the Devils the best chance to win.

At some point both teams have to level off and play a balanced 60 minute game....each team has had major brain farts for large parts of games....i expect it will balance out at some point |

Thank god you're not the coach.
If anything, Larsson would go in for Volchenkov, however, Larsson has ZERO playoff experience and does anything make him that much better of an option then Volchenkov. Who will replace Volchenkov's PK minutes without wearing them down, because Larsson can't do that.
Janssen and Boulton are not an upgrade over any of the forwards in our line-up. As soon as they hit the ice with any line, that line is virtually ineffective offensively and we have to watch them struggle to clear the puck out of the zone time and time again.
No line-up changes should be made at all. |

i feel the exact same way and if i watch and have my jersey on you had better watch out cause they play like a house league team like to me when you go offside like 4 times in a 7 minute time span you dont know what your doing or how to play with any structure im literally sick of seeing harrold out there i dont even care if he is playing well or not he is so damn small my gf could run him over and he just lets the opposition skate around him almost every time like at this point i would of been all in for trading parise for a top 1-2 dmen with size and who hits i cannot emphasize that enough i understand we wanna be skilled in fast but we have zero grit and im sick of clarkson just chirping throw your mits off like you have one 30 goal season and you forget what your really good at doing like we dont need him trying to be a talent guy when we have enough of those and they are doing anything for us |

well that is your opinion and no one said your not intitled to it but we havent showed very much emotion at all and its guys like janssen that fire guys up and just because i want him in the line up doesnt mean i would play him im sure if he sat the entire game on the bench it would still give our reg's something to think about but im not here to argue with anyone |

Boulton or Janssen should not see the ice. THe panthers will skate circles around them and our 4th line, our only current productive line, will be poop.
I don't mind trying larsson, but he won't fix our problems. |

We definitely need someone who is willing to stir things up and create some emotion. You would think a "back against the wall" mentality would be showing itself. |
